How can you help a child?

Donations to the Resource Center

The Resource Center will allow children placed in foster care immediate access to goods and services that address their basic needs. We recognized that state aid was often not immediately available to children and foster/kinship families in crisis. The Center is stocked with emergency supplies, clothing, beds and bedding, toys, and infant items. We rely upon the generosity of the Tulsa community to provide for these needs.

Community Supported Donations!

It takes a community to raise a child affected by child abuse.

Donate Items for Shelter!

Essential items are in continuous need for the shelter residents ages birth through 17 years.

Volunteer Your Time!

Volunteer opportunities are available at the Laura Dester Children’s Center, with our Foster Care Family Events, and on our TAPC Board of Directors.

Become a Foster Parent!

You can alter the course of a child’s life.
